We are Traviesos.

We were the ones who survived.

Traviesos was founded by a Mexican-American — born in the U.S. to Mexican parents. Second-generation. Chicano. "Chicano" was originally used as a derogatory slur against low-income Mexican-Americans in the 1940s and 50s. The Chicano Movement of the 1960s — El Movimiento — reclaimed it as a badge of honor and identity. We carry that same pride.

"Travieso" is something different — it's the word your parents called you when you were being a mischievous little kid. If you grew up in a Mexican household, you know exactly what that meant. That's us. That's always been us.

We grew up in low-income neighborhoods navigating poverty, violence, and systems that weren't built for us. We watched our parents work full-time and still come up short. Cold Christmases. Survival mode. That was the reality — and it shaped everything we are.

But we're still here. We have nice cars. We built something. And we're here to remind you that you can too. Traviesos is a lifestyle — for everyone who came from nothing and is becoming something.

If you ever got called travieso or traviesa as a kid — you already know. A little mischief, a little heart, a whole lot of resilience. We host legal events, support the community, and give people a place to channel that energy the right way. That kid in us never fully left. We just found better ways to let it out.
